The Brief 

A new luggage and travel accessories brand for a younger demographic at better prices than market leaders. 

The Brand 

To wander is to explore, to get lost in the unknown and to come out the other end with a story to tell. 

WanderX was an extremely fun project to work on as we were trying to a shape a young and energetic travel brand that not only talks to a younger demographic but also priced itself for them. A great product market fit and a relatively free reign over the branding meant the team could explore. 

WanderX is free, energetic and always up for an adventure. It’s always by your side and doesn’t add to your worries, while looking calm and sleek. This was an overall persona that we tried to capture with this brand, be it from the photoshoot, website, 3D animation, the copy as well as the social media. Being able to work on a brand holistically definitely meant a lot of tedious work but it was also incredibly rewarding.

The brand recently opened its very first store in South Mumbai and partnered with Arjun Kapoor for a campaign.

The Copy

The key markers for the brand’s tone of voice were aspirational, playful and conversational. We were talking to an Indian audience that’s extremely ambitious and particular about their choices, hence we wished to resonate with them since day 1 and become a recurring member of their journey. 

The copy is fun when it can be and dives into benefits when it needs to, it maintains a good balance and the support from the striking imagery only enhances it more.

The Shoot

With the first ever photo and video shoot for the brand, the thought was to establish a strong visual foundation and create a varied bank of assets. The colours and the pop mimicked the design language of the products and these images still find use on the brand's social media and website, now enhanced with AI.
